ROASTED GARLIC AND PARMESAN BUTTER
In case you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a FAN of garlic. Between the garlic mayo, bread and this beauty of a recipe, I don’t know what I like more. But hey, one more recipe with garlic doesn’t hurt anyone, right? Especially a roasted garlic recipe. The best way to eat garlic is roasted, really. And before you freak out, we’re not going to make the butter from scratch, I promise.
I think butter makes everything better. It’s not very healthy to always add butter, but when you feel like eating yummy, add butter. To sandwiches, scrambled eggs, with plain bread, meat, oh, just everything. It’s delicious.
Before I go on, I’ll link a couple of other recipes. If you are a fan of garlic li me, you’ll love them as well.
PARTS OF THIS BUTTER
Well, since butter doesn’t really have too many parts, we’ll talk about that and how you can eat this butter. Parts first. This is a SUPER easy recipe. With only 5 ingredients you give regular butter a new life. All you have to do is use soft butter or room temperature, add the ingredients and mix well. See? Very easy. That’s why it’s not worth talking so much about the “parts” of the recipe.
On the other hand, how can you eat this gorgeous butter? First, my favorite, use it to make garlic bread. Cut the bread into slices but not all the way, add this butter to all the pieces and take it to the oven for a few minutes. Check out the recipe linked above for this bread. Using this butter will make it even better because this recipe includes Parmesan as well. You can also add a little of this butter to grilled meat. The butter gives a caramelized texture to the meat. Either grilled or pan-fried. Finally, in the simplest way possible. A delicious regular bread, toasted and with roasted garlic and parmesan butter. Deli. You can serve it with bread to snack before dinner at home as well.
TIPS FOR PERFECT BUTTER
Unsalted butter: I recommend using unsalted butter for this recipe so you can control the amount of salt you add in. You have more control of the flavor this way.
The cheese: Grating the cheese as small as possible is ideal. We want the flavor to blend well instead of having large lumps of cheese in the bites.
Garlic: Roast the garlic in advance. With a olive oil and salt, in aluminum foil and in the oven until soft. It gives it an incredible flavor and texture without having your mouth taste like garlic for the rest of the day.
EQUIPMENT
Bowl: To make the whole recipe.
Measures: Spoons, cups and a kitchen scale. To weigh and measure all the ingredients.
Mixer: To mix everything together and to give the butter just of pinch of air.
Cheese grater: For the parmesan cheese.
Knife: To cut the garlic.
Aluminum foil: To cover the garlic head and place in the oven.
Chopping board: In case you need to cut or prepare ingredients in the recipe.
