In a sandwich, or a burger or with a few breadsticks before a dinner! This mayo is the PERFECT condiment for your food!

I recommend that you make this mayo on one of those blenders that have a small space that opens on the top without having to take the lid off! You can use a hand mixer an a cup as well.

Before starting, make sure to weigh and measure all of the ingredients and have them close and ready!

This recipe comes out a bit more liquid than regular mayo, if you prefer a creamier version, use less oil.

EQUIPMENT:

Blender or hand mixer: Both options work perfectly!

Measuring cups: Measure everything before you start and have everything ready for when you need it!

Bowls: As I mentioned before, having all the ingredients weighed and ready to go is very important for this recipe because it comes together pretty quickly.

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 Cup basil leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

1. Add egg, lemon juice, salt and pepper to the blender or hand mixer.

2. Start mixing and at the same time slowly add the oil.

3. When the mayo starts to get a creamier texture and a lighter color, add the garlic clove and basil leaves.

4. Keep mixing a little bit more until its completely green. Don't over mix!
